It's always interesting to see how a member of a band does when releasing solo material. So often it doesn't compare to the music made by the artists former band, however in this case it does. It also sounds suspiciously like a Killers song. Read more and listen to 'Crossfire' after the beep.
So the first glimpse of Brandon Flowers solo project has arrived and it sounds pretty good albeit very much within a killers vein. I always expect a solo venture to separate itself from the band which spawned it but in this case there is no need for it. The Killers make great music and managed to develop enough to keep their music original, so the fact that 'Crossfire' sounds a bit like a track of a future killers album is irrelevant. What matters is that the artist is Brandon Flowers and his track is pretty damn good. Enjoy.
