Audience Of One - Cold War Kids
Loving the new CWK song, EP, Album Cover, general sound. I would even go as far as saying this song reaches the dizzy heights of 'Hang Me Out To Dry'. It has all the Ingredients of Cold War Kids; the plonky piano, the preached lyrics and bluesy riffs. I Cannot wait until this beauty of an EP gets released. Scissor - Liars
I hadn't heard of this band until today and i can't quite understand why. After about of one and a half minutes of this track i thought i had them sussed as a melodic bluesy band a bit like a 'TV on the radio' sound but then the "chorus" happened. Its heavy drums and guitar completely surprised me but after some consideration i decided that it was a nice surprise. In the chorus they no longer sound like Blues more the evil twin of the klaxons or the rhythmical twin of the horrors.A tip for the rest of you, don't turn up to loud during the verse otherwise the chorus may blow your speakers. Enjoy.
